A carbon footprint is made up of the sum of two parts, the primaryfootprint (shown by the green slices of the pie chart) and the
secondary footprint (shown as the yellow slices).
1. The primary footprint is a measure of our direct emissions of CO2

什么是“碳足迹”？“碳足迹”来源于一个英语单词“Carbon Footprint”。关于这个词的解释是：A carbon footprint is the total amount of CO2 and other greenhouse gases emitted over the full life cycle of a product or service. 打个比方，一个人开着车子在马路上转一圈就留下了一个碳足迹。
