The colt saw an old horse swimming across the river and thought, “If the old horse can do it, then I can do it too!” So, he jumped into the water and started swimming.
The colt soon realized that the river was much deeper and wider than he had thought. He was struggling to keep his head above the water. He was getting tired and was about to give up.
scr-035Just then, he saw an old mule swimming across the river. The mule was much smaller than the old horse, but it was swimming with ease. The colt thought, “If the old mule can do it, then I can do it too!”
He gathered all his strength and kept swimming. After a few minutes, he finally made it to the other side of the river.
